Berlin, Primarvereinigung and Mystery Meat...

Holaaaa!
You know, I could just say it was a fab week because we were BLESSED with no bug problems! My scream probably scared everything off... So here's a few other things that went down this week!

1. We had a trainer/trainee meeting in Berlin and it was a good ol' MTC reunion!  It was super fun to catch up and hear about everyone's area. That also kicked off the trainees starting to use Facebook for proselyting! I had to spend like 5 hours the next day cleaning up my profile (I'm so sorry if you ever saw my posts from my middle school years...). Also, I see that like everyone is suddenly married...?!?
2. We got ice cream with some of the PV (Primarvereinigung aka Primary) kids and a few women after a lesson this week, and I discovered vegan cashew ice cream! It is life changing.
3. On Sunday, we got to teach PV ages 4 to 12! We prepared to talk about being reverent in church, and walk into the room containing a madhouse of screaming children running around. Haha, major respect to PV Leaders, I understand you now! It was so fun though. Every kid left the room with stickers all over their face but hey, at least they were folding their arms! :-)

4. We went to a members house to eat lunch after Church on Sunday. While the wife was finishing dinner, the husband naturally showed us their beautiful garden. He also showed us a huge house of cages. He opened a few and I jumped when I saw hundreds of rabbits! (Okay, me and small animals just don't mix) We went back to eat dinner, and the wife started serving me mystery meat and klöse. It took me a minute to figure out I was eating one of their rabbits! Apparently it is a delicacy, so yeah... That happened! It tastes like super soft turkey...

5. Saturday we had the chance to meet with our investigator, Naghman. Not having been raised in a Christian background, he asked us a very profound question: how do you know Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and not just a prophet? We taught him about God's plan for us, including where we came from, why we are here and exactly where we are going. As we taught the lesson, I prayed and prayed that we could help him figure out the answer to his question for himself. After we went through it all, he tearfully said, "I see that the only way we can live with God again is through the Atonement. He's more than a prophet, because He was able to do that for us! I really do need Him!" YES. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that I am teaching people about the truth of His church. I love it!

Love you all so much! I cannot express how grateful I am for the support I have. I love it, I'm happy and I thank Heavenly Father every day for the opportunity to serve Him!

Liebe grüße,
Sister Macey Ingalls
