1. Through loads of miracles, we made a new friend named Tamara! She. Is. AMAZING! We texted her Tuesday morning and had a spontaneous first meeting/lesson that afternoon. As I was getting ready, I felt more and more prompted that we needed a member to come with. About 1 1/2 hours before we called a couple names that came to mind, and it worked out! Inga came! It was so good and SO much better to have her there.
Ohhh Sister Baldock
2. I when on exchanges with the lovely Sister Anderton! She's been in Germany for 2 weeks and man, her energy and positivity radiates! It was a great exchange, we went to a ward activity and Tamara came!! It was good to remember how I felt as a brand new missionary, teachable and how ready I felt to just give everything I had. She did call me an old missionary quite a bit and I don't know how I feel about that...
NAME THAT MOVE BROS! (Morning run in Groitzsch!)
3. Sister Baldock had a Turkish temple trip this weekend which meant.... I went to Groitzsch with SISTER HANSEN! It was such a blast. It's such a cute place, and we had a CAR! The weekend consisted of English Class, visiting a sweet older member who refused to lose the game (sorry, winners luck!), painting a 26 year old man's apartment bright pink, performing a musical number in church and possible a late night music video or two. There wasn't a dull moment (or color!)
Never forget: God loves you!! (Yes this is the color of the man's apartment)
4. Random funny moment. The tire pressure was low on the way back from painting so we did a quick stop to check them. As I was putting a cap back on, Sister Hansen starts laughing and said she dropped a cap in the rim! We texted the district a picture and asked it if was necessary to have (yes I know, #sisters 😂). Then we spent the next 10 or so minutes trying to find this little "absolutely necessary" cap haha. She'd move the car a bit then rotate the wheel and I'd shove my arm behind the tire and look for it. We looked absolutely ridiculous with her finally driving super slow and me banging on the rim. With that and a couple prayers though, it worked!
We found the necessary cap😂
5. In all of the years of my life going to church, I've never paid attention to the Priesthood holders breaking the bread as we sang the peaceful sacrament hymn. On Sunday, my thoughts and attention were directed to them the whole time. I felt an astounding amount of peace, as I saw them doing exactly what Jesus Christ taught His disciples to do. The Spirit witnessed to me on that day that the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brought back this sacred ordinance. P.S. GERMANY WON AGAINST SWEDEN!!
