Cute Ol' Ladies, Strumpfhose and Hours of Revelation (hollaaaaaaa)

Transfer Calls
1. PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED.... SISTER GRISHAM AND I ARE STAYING IN ZWICKAU TOGETHER NEXT TRANSFER!!!! Needless to say it's going to be a pretty lit next 6 weeks. #goalsalreadymade #imsopumped

Old Ladies
2. Tuesday was by far my favorite day last week (Okay for real though its like trying to pick the cutest puppy- you can't. Every day is great.). We started the day out by teaching the cutest little old lady, Helga, and ended the night with old ladies exercise class at the church. When I say old ladies, I mean that the youngest besides Sister Grisham and I had a good 40 years on us! We laughed a bit to ourselves the whole time because it was hardly exercise for us youngsters that could still touch our toes. I definitely have a special place in my heart for cute old ladies though, so I'm so excited to go again tomorrow!!

Weeding the Forest
3. We finally found a good time to go by the Leischenring's and help her out by working in her garden for a few hours! I've never really done hard core gardening, so when I saw the garden, I was a bit shocked... There wasn't a spot in the garden that didn't have weeds... Needless to say, gardening is actually super fun when you just get rid of basically everything!! We put our heart, soul, and 3 hours into it and definitely got a good feeling of accomplishment (and some wicked blisters for battle wounds!) out of it. Service is the best, and now I feel like a certified weed-pulling meisterin!

Strumphose
4. I love the old ladies and all, but here's the thing: They scold us for not wearing strumphose (tights) with skirts. I've gotten smart and wear them on Sunday to avoid being scolded at church, but it still get looks if I don't wear them in public. Here is the reason why: the older generation firmly believes that if women don't wear tights when it's cold, they will never have children... Alrighty then.

General Conference a.k.a 8-10 hours of revelation
5. I know every missionary and their grandma is talking about General Conference right now, but I just have to add that it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! It was wonderful to watch it from a missionaries perspective, but still just as wonderful to watch as Macey too. Elder Pingree asked a powerful question, "Are we living in such a way that God can work through us?" We are here to help and support one another, lifting each other up! If you didn't get the chance to watch conference (or just the epic trailer!) you can on lds.org or Facebook also has great clips and quotes from it!

I love you all almost as much as the cute little old ladies in Zwickau (jk. maybe just as much.)!!! Go out and be a force for good this week! Give someone the reason to smile!!
