Words really can't describe well enough how deeply I love my Savior Jesus Christ and my time set apart to serve Him in Germany. This week, the challenge becomes harder as my love for the work and the people in Neukölln deepen. If I could just describe it in one word, it would be JOY!
We had so much joy this week!
-We taught Griffin the doctrine of Christ using a playground, it was spontaneous and really fun!
-We decided to have more joyful conversations on the street, so we introduced ourselves with "heeeey!!!!" or "nahh?!" (typisch Berliner sound) I LOVED it! I forget what it's like to not just casually start a deep conversation with everyone you see on the street
-We sacrificed sweets for miracles and Heavenly Father blessed us with some "sweet" moments.
If I've learned anything this week, it is this: the only thing that matters is what you focus on. When I focus my life on Jesus Christ, He gives me strength and my own weaknesses and shortcomings are overcome! I'm glad I can make mistakes and lean on Jesus Christ to bring me closer to God.
