"...and Sister Ingalls will sing in Spanish!" (Feb 25 -- Group Email)

[No Pictures were sent with this post - Note from MOM]
! مرحبا(!!Yes, those squiggles make a WORD)
1. Might as Well Learn All the Languages!
ARABIC IS SO COOL! The headaches aren't so frequent and things are starting to make sense! I've found a trick of studying on the train; the Arabic-speakers flock and are so excited to help out with anything! Oh, and Sister Decker started Persian this week! AND, we had a training from a sign language elder to talk to deaf people and guide them to the sign language missionaries! It was so cool!! #currently5languagesinthiscompanionship #actuallywecansinginSwahilitoo

2. Please Pray..
Mercy and her girls came to church with the Ohando's this week! I asked Joseph (the new convert) if Mercy had interest, and he said, "Sister Ingalls, when you see someone is hungry, you just feed them. Mercy is spiritually hungry, and we need to help her." Man, I have things to learn from him! But we were having a really good discussion about the Restoration, when she suddenly got a phone call saying a dear family member got in a car accident.. She had to leave immediately and it was so sad... Please keep her in your prayers!

3. Pkay
We had an awesome lesson with Pkay again, and Joseph was our joint teach! They were so excited to see each other, and Joseph is such an awesome missionary already! We decided to completely follow the spirit with the lesson, and were able to address so many concerns he had, and he opened up so much! He is progressing so much, and wants to make change in his life! #somuchloveforthesepeople

4. Huge props to you spanish speakers...
HAH so we had exchanges and I stayed in Elmshorn and welcomed Sister Barker to the best area of the mission! (okay they are all the best, love you friends) We were talking to a members neighbor, and she was really apprehensive to talk to us. Suddenly, Sister Barker was like, "can we sing you a song?!" She just so happened to have her ukelele with her, music finding is super fun! The lady agreed (note that she's hispanic), so my lovely comp says "great, I'll play Uke, and Sister Ingalls will sing in Spanish!" I burst out laughing, I've NEVER spoken Spanish in my life! I was like, alright, maybe this will be one of those cool God-will-help-me experiences, so I went with it. I wasn't just pretty rough, I actually BUTCHERED it! Hahaha oh my goodness, everyone was laughing. We redeemed ourselves in German, and because of all this, the lady opened up a ton and we exchanged contact info to come back! #non-singingforthewin

5. Don't Think, Just Pray
As we were fast walking to the train station to catch the train, I suddenly and surprisingly got this feeling that I needed to give someone a Book of Mormon before we got on the train. With limited time, I told Sis. Barker we needed to pray, right there in the street. We talked to EVERYONE, but nobody was interested. Finally, right before we got there, we ran into a guy with the coolest Italien accent and he was completely interested and took the book! I'm so glad we listened to the Spirit, and I hope this family feels the joy of the gospel and the wonderful Book of Mormon!

Sorry I ran outta time, I'll attach lots of pictures next week! Love you all!

Sister Macey Ingalls
