I Love You a Million German Playgrounds! -- (Mar.11)

Hey Mom!!
This week was great!! I'm sorry I wasn't really feeling like writing last week, but I'm okay and all is well in Zion! Thank you, THANK YOU for the wonderful support you give me. Do you even know how much I love and appreciate you?!! That little email that you sent me made a huge difference. Dad's right, it was very heartfelt and meaningful! I was worried that you would be worried all week or sad and I didn't want that, because bad weeks just happen sometimes! I’ve definitely learned that they do not need to turn into bad months or years. You gotta just address them and change the situation or if you can’t do that, change your attitude. Hard but good lessons to learn!

It’s crazy that transfers are already next week. People seem to think that Sister Decker is going but I’m not sure. Like yeah, of course that would make sense, but I get some other vibes. Who knows! I'll figure out Saturday night and we'll see what happens next week!

Ahhh I miss the temple so much!!! I focus on spiritual stuff every day, but hands down there is something missing not being able to go to the temple regularly. I realize I haven’t been since Ocktober! That is so long... But I will definitely think about that one, about working at the temple after my mission! That would be so nice!! I really need to figure out if I’m extending our not. I def have time, but I'm really torn about it. I’m leaning towards going home when I'm supposed to as of now, but we'll see. Random question, what does my missionary plack (how the heck do you spell that word?!) say? November or December?

I'm really glad that you get to go to the temple so often! There is definitely a special spirit there. Oh, I learned something weird yesterday... About how they used to do initiatories. I remember you first telling me a bit but I didn’t take you super seriously... Was that how it was when you got endowed and had your first initiatory? How was your first experience of the temple??

P.S. Totally loved the March calendar thing you sent me! Perhaps you aren’t so crazy for writing down weird anniversaries and all those funny memories ;) Oh my goodness, I forgot about the almost getting arrested thing with Will. Man, that was an... interesting date! Sister Decker and I laughed about that one this morning. Last time I’ll pull on DQ door late at night!!

Funny thing, there is a woman in our ward, about 30 years old, named Sara(h) and her baby is due in 2 weeks! She is really pregnant haha! Like really pregnant. I saw her baby kick her and it really freaked me out. I don’t know if I want to do that.. But anyway! I like to pretend that it’s my Auntie Sara! She’s super cute and I love talking with her! She’s totally TMI just like Sara so we get along well :))

Yes yes yes yes YES I get alll of your pictures and I love ALL of them! Especially the ones of you and the family! And the kitty! and the snow! Dang my skirt was short in the wedding picture haha! I just have such limited time, I can’t comment on all of your pictures. I know you like long emails, but I’d really rather make them meaningful! :) I totally love them though and download them and look at them throughout the week! Its super fun, so thanks for sharing! Totally scandy pictures of you and Dad, gross! [We are wearing swimsuits in Hawaii. That’s scandy? Okay. – MOM] P.S. your hair is SO beautiful!!! I love it! Have you colored it at all? It looks thicker too. Mine is finally getting a bit longer and that is exciting. I hope It’s normal when I see you again, I loved my long hair! But it was good and a nice for a change for a while :)

I’ve had a really good week Mom! I'm so grateful for the power of prayer and just simply of the gospel. I realize that my happiness really comes from living it. Every commandment is there for my happiness. And it’s like that happiness that just makes your heart sing. It’s not always a smile you can see on someone’s face but deep, deep within someone’s eyes! I need the gospel to keep going. I need my Savior. I learned something interesting this week about gifts. I hope I can portray this right. I learned from the Doctrine and Covenants that some are given the gift to know that Jesus Christ is their Savior. And then some are given the gift of faith that He is. Faith and knowledge are gifts from God! I notice everyone thinks we need to get up at the pulpit and say "I know..." but that isn’t the case for everyone. They are still working on their faith, and their faith will someday be knowledge. There are many things I know, like God's existence and that Jesus Christ is His son, who is my healer and paid the ultimate price for me to return to my heavenly parents. But I think I’m still on the faith part with lots of things, and that is totally okay! I’m glad to exercise my faith and put a bit of my trust in something other than myself. I know Heavenly Father gives us line upon line, so I will be patient until that day when I understand it all! Questions are good but keep looking and searching because we will come to the answer! It requires a bit more effort than just the average doubter, but it’s a lot more rewarding! What are something that you are developing your faith in?

I love you a million German playgrounds!!! (hopefully, you see the videos I upload to google drive today! If not today, tomorrow they will be finished!)

You are amazing. I pray for you and the family and I am just so blessed to have you!

Sistaaa Ingalls
P.S. I go by my first name in Arabic because its more culturally appropriate! Cool huh? Like its offensive to give them your last name, unless its men, then definitely Ucht Ingalls!
