1. We had an AWESOME zone conference (like always!) I always leave feeling so inspired, I love me leaders so much! We did this ridiculous exercise (literally?!) of stretching upward. But it taught that reaching out to the Savior, just as He does to us, required diligent, focused effort!! #fleißig
Reunited with Sister Thorpe at ZoKo!
Annie Röhl: 93 year old who actually isn't a day over 30. I LOVE THIS LADY!
She cracked a joke right as we took the picture, oh my heart!
3. ARABIC. AH. I love this language SO much! I love it love it love it. And I love talking to people, so this just makes my day so exciting because I can talk to MORE people!! I can pretty much just ask basic get-to-know-you questions, and "we believe in God!" Basically all I need, right?!
Lol someone asked why sisters always go to the bathroom together
so we gave him an answer #throwbacktomiddleschool
4. To end the transfer with a crecendo, we made the goal before weekly planning to set up 20 appointments for the next week! It was a big goal but hey, goals with God are toally reachable. We set up 21 appointments, and I'm super excited for this week!
I found an American water fountain!! Water fountains do not exist here, especially not this fancy thing!
5. After a rough week last week, I did not want this week to go the same. I prayed a LOT this week, trying to figure out what I could do to change it. Like God promises His children, He did give me an answer. It was to focus 30 minutes of studying on simply reading the Book of Mormon, and to be more grateful for what I have. I can tell you with my whole soul, that this changed my life! I feel like I've had the biggest smile on my face all week! I'm grateful to be able to learn that I can always turn to Him. He paid the price to know how to help all of us overcome hard things!! I'm so grateful for Him.
"Hey Sister Decker, whats funnier that 24?" #ifyougetthisjokewearebffs
