Letters From a Mother and Daughter -- Nov. 26

For the first time, I am posting my letter to Macey and her letter to me so they can both be printed in her blog book at the end.

Happy Thanksgiving Macey!!!
I know this is your favorite holiday and they don't even celebrate it there. I'm sure they have some kind of equivalent holiday to give thanks there so that will have to be your new favorite holiday for a while. Anyway, I think you can still celebrate by being thankful no matter what. I thought I'd change up my email this week in honor of this being your favorite holiday and tell you all the things I'm thankful for! Here goes:
1. My family, both immediate and extended. They make my world go around and give me so much happiness (and stress sometimes, if I'm being honest!) and fulfilment as a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter etc. I love them all so much!

2. My marriage. It is the single best decision I've ever made in my life to increase my happiness and joy. He is so loving, kind, thoughtful, patient, sharing, sweet, spiritual, funny, and the list could go on and on! His Dad jokes make me laugh even when they are not funny!

3. My testimony. I know that Heavenly Father lives and knows me personally, he loves me and wants me to find my way back to Him. I love to read the words of our prophets and especially Thomas S. Monson. He is a man of God and I know that I can follow him. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel according to the word and will of the Father. I know that the scriptures are true and that I can read them for comfort, peace and answers to prayer.

4. Prayer. I know that Heavenly Father answers my prayers and that they are always heard. He wants to bless me and to communicate with me, but only if I am being receptive enough to bow my head and cry out to Him. There are often times when I feel that He will even answer my unasked prayer. I know that sounds kind of weird, but I feel like there are times when I receive something so wonderful and unexpected that I never even asked for, but learned that it was exactly what I needed.

5. Our Home. I love to be here, it's warm and cozy and welcoming. It has so many good memories within its walls and I love our cozy couches and beds, everything is so comfortable!

6. My friendship with Grandma. You know what I always say, "Friends come and go but family is forever!" It is true that friends come and go, even when we don't think they ever will. Over the years, I have been close to several people and they come and go, but Grandma has always been there for me. She knows me so well, she can sense when I need her or a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen. I love that I am now old enough to be that listening ear and shoulder to lean on for her too! She will always be my mother first, but second to that she is my best friend!

7. Books. I absolutely love to read, and I feel like the world is full of endless possibilities when I hop inside a book. I love the smell of them and the feel of them and I love tucking one under my arm or into my purse for later. I tend to get lost in their pages and they take me away to new places all the time.

8. My creativity. I love making things and decorating and taking pictures and sewing and crocheting and writing and so much more. I feel like my creativity is truly a gift from God. It's hard to think of it that way, but it is and it's not just to make crafty things either. I love finding new ways to do things and new ways of thinking. I feel like there is so much more in me that I haven't even tapped into yet! I love when I get a new idea or inspiration and I love running with it and seeing my ideas come to life!

9. My health. There was a pretty long period of time where I wasn't doing so well in the health department. I was having the worst chest pains and internal pains and it went on frequently for a few years where I thought that this was just how my life was going to be. I also had that other issue that was horrendous and seemingly never-ending. Both of those things were very miserable to live with and I tried my hardest to not complain and deal with it the best I could, but it was so hard, and it took a lot out of me to have so much chronic discomfort. (I still deal with the problem of a burning tongue and roof of mouth and it’s pretty bad, but one out of three ain't bad, right? And I have hope that someday that can be healed too.) I am just so grateful that they finally figured out what was wrong with me and were able to help in both cases. I feel so much better and I feel like I have my life back again!

10. Dad's job. He is so much happier there with the new changes! He seems to actually enjoy his job and it is so nice to see him come home happy again. I knew that he wasn't happy there and I could see it in him all the time, I just hadn't realized how bad it had become until this big change. He has a spring in his step again and smiles a lot more now when he comes home from work. I'm also grateful that it pays the bills and keeps us living comfortably with enough to save, to spare and to share.

11. Missions. I miss you kids like crazy when you go off on missions, but I also love what it gives to you and teaches you. I love the immersion into the gospel for 18 months- 2 years hoping to strengthen your testimonies and give you a strong foundation for the future. I also don't worry about you kids as much when you are away as when you are here. I know that you are in the Lord's hands for that period of time and that is better than anything I could do for you! You missionaries are special to Him and He watches out for you. Nothing can make my mother's heart lighter than not having to worry about my kids.

12. Sun and Snow. I love the sun and the brightness it brings. I love to wake up to a sun shiny day and it seems that all cares are lighter in the presence of the sun. I also love the snow and its tremendous beauty. I love the first snowfalls of the year when the snow covers even the tiniest branches on a tree and it looks like a magical winter wonderland everywhere you look. Oh, and I want to add that I am so thankful for the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in the past 3-4 days around here. So many colors - orange, red, yellow, blue and purple have been massively  streaking the sky and it has been a wonder to behold! I love living in a place that is flat enough to be able to see them too!

13. Water. I love to drink it, I love to bathe in it, I love to swim in it, I love to be able to flush it, and I love to clean with it! It's the best!

14. Being able to travel. I've been to some pretty amazing places! Utah, Washington, Oregon, California, lots of other states, Bahamas, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Spain, Netherlands, and Hawaii! There is so much beauty all around and it is breathtaking all that the Father created for us!

15. Netflix and Hulu! I don't want this to be all spiritual and holy and make you think that I don't have anything frivolous! I love to be able to watch movies and tv shows on the internet and be able to skip all the commercials! It's seriously awesome!

16. Mondays!!!! I love getting long emails, group emails and tons of pictures from my favorite missionary right now! I never used to think Mondays were that big of a deal but they sure are now! They end up being one of the best parts of every week and I love to reread the messages and look at the pictures over and over all week. I love to show my newest pictures to everyone and to post everything on the blog! I love it all!!!

I could go on and on and on but you don't have that much time and I want you to have plenty of time to write back! I hope you had a wonderful week and that you feel the spirit of this holiday even when you are far from home!

I want to say this to you now before the month of December even hits...I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY AND NOT BE HOMESICK FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!! I feel like if you are aware of this now, you will be able to prepare yourself so that it won't be an issue for you. I realize that you love us and that you miss us and that's okay, but I want you to still be HAPPY! This is a choice you made and we supported you so we knew this was a part of the deal when you got the call. It is only ONE Christmas out of a lifetime of them so we will all be okay! Use this time to prepare for the future, you may not always be able to be home for Christmas. Let our spirits be in your heart wherever you are. We are a tightly knit bonded family and that will not change no matter the distance. I did everything I could to make sure this one would be special for you, through tons of cards from loved ones and a fun package of goodies, also you should be getting 3 other packages in the near future as well. Also, we will get to Skype and that is such a blessing!!! I look forward to it so much and I can't wait to see that happy girl I know and love! I promise I will be cheerful and happy too, all while missing you. I can do it and you can too! I give you permission to not be sad and to put all your energy into being where you are, with who you are, doing what you are supposed to be doing! Just remember, it's just one Christmas. Okay? Besides, who gets to spend Christmas in FREAKIN' GERMANY?????!!!!! How lucky are you? It is like the Christmas Capital of the WORLD!!!!!

Random thoughts:
Remember when I bought you the booties with the cutout sides and the chains on top? Now they are super mega popular and you were a trendsetter! Just sayin'!

Christy Holt had her baby the day after Thanksgiving! So, technically they have a Black Friday baby! Her name is Genevieve Faith Holt.
Will you let me know when you get any of the packages please?
Are you writing in your journal? Do you need any others?

I am sorry this is so long, I just started typing and it all came out!
I love you a million of all my favorite things because none of it even slightly compares to YOU!!!!!
Love, MOM

MOMMY!!!!
First of all, that was like, the sweetest email EVER! You are dang right; I love Thanksgiving, and this was just the cherry on top of a great Thanksgiving! You are so sweet and real, I loved hearing what you are thankful for! I'd love to send you a really cool list of things I’m thankful for, but that list would take absolutely forever, and I just don’t have that time!! Maybe I will send a letter with those things, we'll see :) I hope you know that I am very, very grateful for you and Dad, the boys, and all the rest of my family and friends that support me out here. It's not always easy (but by no means too hard!), and it really comforts me knowing that someone is praying for me or thinking of me. I pray lots and lots for you, that you have a happy busy week and don’t miss me too much (good thing you have 5 other kids!)

Before I forget, yes, I finally got your package of letters! EEK! I'm so excited to start opening them on Friday!
They start on December 2nd though, is that correct? I was kind of laughing thinking that the customs guy took number one out of the stack or something! But even so, I am just amazed that you got all of that put together! Kudos to you and know that I can hardly wait to open the first one!
Nah, I don't think I will be homesick. I wrote this in my journal a couple days ago, but the remedy to homesickness (or to avoid it in the first place) is to be 100% obedient and to work hard! I remember the only pday I really felt homesick, the next day was a crazy busy day and I didn’t even get a chance to think about it, and it totally made it go away! But by now, I think I'll be able to handle it, don't worry about me at all! I'm 100% taken care of in this ward (I’ll explain in the next paragraph) and I’m pretty sure I’m going to have the best Christmas possible without my family itself. Plus, it sounds like I have a couple treats coming in the mail, so I’m pretty excited for those! The next day that I will be able to get mail (and where we will all get our Christmas packages) is on December 13th. My package is in the mission home right now! For fun if you want to see them, you can go look at Mark Rockwood's Facebook Video(he’s one of our office elders) and he posted a funny video of the storage room with all of our packages.

So, I have a good story to tell! Along with being unbelievably busy this week (miracles on miracles, we had so many lessons and good contacts!), I had the best Thanksgiving I could possibly ask for out here! One of the really big families in the ward are the Müllers. They remind me SO much of our family, they even have 4 boys and a girl! But they have a tradition that started in the 80's of inviting the mission president (back when the mission home was in Hamburg) over along with the missionaries and they had a good American Thanksgiving dinner! I feel honored that I got to be a part of the Müller Thanksgiving, it was really special! Just how I like it, tons of people and family, cute little kids that break something in the house and everyone just happy, laughing and thankful together. It felt like Heavenly Father was looking out for me and knew how much it meant to me. I am so grateful for Him and how closely He watches over His children.

You sent me a random little email about transfers, and to clarify that means that it’s just a shorter transfer period. President is sending the returning missionaries home 2 weeks early so that they can be home for Christmas, so that just means people will transfer earlier! I will most likely be staying here; he tends to keep missionaries in an area for about 4 transfers. So, I’m all unpacked not ready to leave until February or March but I guess anything can happen!

Other than that, nothing extremely special this week! We had interviews with president and those went really well! I love that man, he has wonderful counsel and gives his all to further the work in Germany. We also had Stake Conference and that was great too! On Saturday I sat with his daughter, Annie and taught her how to write in cursive (I promise I was paying attention!). She’s super cute and I’m excited for her to go on her mission. My goodness, we had a lot of lessons this week and somehow by the grace of Heavenly Father, we accomplished them, and they went well. I love these investigators and I’m so excited to work more with them this week! Sister Decker and I really prayerfully considered when Joseph could be ready for baptism and making that goal. We have a date that we feel really good about, we have a lesson with him on Wednesday and we hope that he will also feel that same spirit!

I love you a million Thanksgiving parties! Can you even believe that I will be home for next Thanksgiving? Time flies when you're on the Lords errand!

Have a happy week, and I hope you use your creativity for something really special!

PS. Whoops! I forgot to answer your questions like normal...
Oh JK there actually aren't that many!
Yes, I faithfully write in my journal! I've kind of caught a bit of a clod the past two days so I've been going to bed a bit earlier and haven't written.
How are you doing on your fitness?! Don't let the holidays eat you! We can do this together!

1-2 Thanksgiving dinner with the district after interviews!
3-4 Sister Unger sent me the pictures when she dropped me off! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!
1-2 more from the saddest day ever
3-4 Really cool story! We were at a member’s home and they are from Croatia or something and I said, “Hey, I have a friend serving there but I forget her last name!” They said that they have a friend there too and they showed me a picture of her and SHE’S COMPANIONS WITH MY FRIEND JENNA! How crazy is that?! Das Welt ist klein! Sister Macey Ingalls
Just another amazing miracle, we didn’t have any more cash and we HAD to make this bus to get to our next appt. We dug for loose change and were like 80 cents short. We prayed they’d just let us on and I dug once more and found exactly what we needed! We had EXACTLY enough change down to the penny for our bus ticket... this is the second time this has happened. Man, I love the guy above. Sister Macey Ingalls

I have no explanation for the last picture other than I remembered doing that in

FAQ: Why Do Sister Missionaries Wear So Much Black?

Picture Proof of why I always wear black....
13 Years and Counting
1. Schwester Raeska is the cutest thing ever and she deserves her own part of my top 5 of the week! She was baptized 13 years ago, and ever since has had the missionaries and a few other people over for Family Home Evening every Monday night! We play the same board game every week, and it takes FOREVER! (I thought Monopoly was bad!) After we left, I figured out that it took so long because I was too competitive... whoops #sorrynotsorry
High Hopes
2. We began teaching the new husband of a member this week, and let me tell you, he is so cool! He asks SO many awesome questions, and he has really opened his heart to hear the gospel. We have really high hopes with him this week and hope to keep making progress!
We were waiting for the church door to open for our interviews with President in Kiel and I decided to distract myself from the cold by taking a bunch of weird pictures.
I apologize on the daily to Sis Decker for my weirdness.
A Change of Heart
3. The sister missionaries have been working with Jacob and Lenard, the sons of a new convert, for quite some time. We decided to switch things up this week and work on studying the scriptures together as a family. At first they did the normal teenager thing and complained (Bros, I get you, I was there once!) but we may have bribed with ice cream (works every time). We had a question from the bible prepared, and everyone found a scripture in the Book of Mormon that either supported it or expanded on it. By the end, Lenard was so excited with his find, he exclaimed (we should do THREE questions a day!) It was amazing to see and feel the change of heart and spirit from the beginning to the end of the lesson!
Answering FAQ #1
4. UGH. Ok this is actually pretty dang funny but one day, I was being a good sister missionary and wearing strumpfhose, except they were tan and it was pouring rain. BIG MISTAKE. We got to our appt. and it looked like I got in a mud fight... #LessonLearned
I FOUND A REAL WATER FOUNTAIN IN GERMANY! That probably means nothing to you, but this totally made my entire day hahahah
I Know It
5. This week has probably been the busiest, most tiring week yet, but I can't help but just smile as I type this email! I LOVE THIS WORK! I'm so grateful I chose to serve a mission, and that I've been able to fully dedicate the last 6 months to share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is the truth with every ounce of my being! I know where to find true peace and joy. I know my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ. Cheers to the next year of going, doing and being what He wants me to be. :-)
Love you all! Happy, Happy Thanksgiving, and I am thankful to know every one of you!!

A Mother's Love, My New Skill and ELMSHORN!!! (Group Email)

A Mother's Love
1. Sister Unger dropped me off at the train station in Zwickau on Wednesday. I love her SO much, she's like a mom to me out here! Well, I didn't know HOW much of a mom she was, until she went off ranting that my little tiny shoes were not going to keep me warm enough all day. She finally just couldn't take it and took the winter inserts out of her shoes and I kid you not, put them in mine!! We all laughed, but she was actually right (just like moms always are...) and they kept me very warm 😁😆
Proof that I am now in the possession of Sister Unger's shoe soles

2. Yup, that's right! I'm in a biking area!! I love it so much, we can get around so much faster! Except our brakes were HORRIBLE, and needed to be replaced. We bought some and took them over to a members house because we wanted to learn to do it ourselves. I'm pretty proud of my new skill #resumeworthy?
I am now an expert in bike brakes and the one on the right will NOT work...

Elmshorn
3. As hard as it was to leave Zwickau, I LOVE Elmshorn! It's just a bit smaller, quite a bit colder and legit smells like cookies (granola factory right in the middle of town). The people we are working with are amazing, and I know we are going to see so many miracles here!
Don't have much time to email, we are BUSY here! I love it and I'm so so SO excited for this transfer and new area! Love y'all! Sister Macey Ingalls
It rains A LOT here.  We end up soaking wet wherever we go and
I've now found the most stylish solution #newtrend?

I LOVE Elmshorn! -- November 19

Mommy!!!!!

I had a fabulous week and it sounds like you did too! As sad as I was during transfer week, it made up for it because I LOVE Elmshorn! I'm not going to get ahead of myself, there is still plenty to tell before that!

My last 2 days in Zwickau were really quite eventful. I spent Monday packing and getting ready, but it was not enough time because I wanted to make sure that everything was clean and put together for when Sister Harlow joined Sister Grisham (yeah, you read that right. I cleaned!) So I had to take a little bit of time on Tuesday night to pack up, but it wasn't too bad. I'm sending photo proof to show how well I packed my suitcases and nothing was too jammed in! The Sunday before, Sister Riedel had asked us to help her with a project (a huge event for multiple stakes in Zwickau the coming weekend) on Tuesday so I didn't have a lot of time to pack. She said they were just table decorations, but it turns out it was 300 little papers with a chocoloate and the tiniest little bow Ive ever seen that we had to tie! It was really fun, and she was really stressed about doing it all herself (no kidding, it would have taken her weeks to do that all by herself!) I think she was really surprised that we got all of them done for her. She reminded me a lot of you, and put a lot of thought and effort into making them! But it was a really good end to tmy time in Zwickau, I love Sister Riedel.

p.s. the computer is lagging a ton while Im writing this, so Im just going to keep typing and not check my mistakes because it would take forever.

Transfer day was a bit more eventful than yyou hoped! Ugh, that wheel is a pain. Nevertheless, it all worked out. (random thought, one day, grisham and I thought itd be funny to add scripture language to our speech, hence the nevertheless. It was a pretty amusing time.) But I traveled the entire day, and basically over half of our mission! Man that was like the saddest thing when G put me on a train in Leipzig. Once I started moving it hit me that I wasnt going back to Zwickau and I kind of started crying.. Like a lot haha. But it was all good because I got my suitcases configured (p.s. its the same in Germany as Spain. You just put your suitcases where you can, but definitely not in the aisle. (moreso at the ends.) but the guy behind me had a dog with him and the dog was all hyper and came up to my seat, and I think that he was a little angel sent to me, because he was just suddenly calm and stuck his head on my lap to let me pet him. Then the owner dude commands him in English to come back, and then I had two friends! The guy was from Ireland and he was super cool and let me just pet his dog and we talked for awhile. However, the problem came when I got to Hannover. The zone leaders were trying to hurry us along so much, that they put me and one other sister on the wrong train! I actually thought that we were in the Frankfurt mission when we realized the mistake, but it was just another hour out of the way. It was crazy lucky because we had wifi on that train and were able to get ahold of the office like 5 minutes before we would have to get off the train and they ordered and sent me a new ticket 1 MINUTE before we got off! It was crazy, but I finally made it to Hamburg. Apparently there was a train accident and like all of the ways to Elmshorn were shut down. I was crazy tired and hadnt eaten all day, but thankfully we got to Elmshorn by a tram and a bus. I dont actually really remember because I was so tired by then, BUT, I met Sister Decker that day! I have to tell you mom, I LOVE HER! Im so o so so excited to work with her. Within like 5 minutes, I was just like, wow, this reminds me of one of my MTC friends that went to the Frankfurt mission!  Turns out, they are like,, best friends and roomed together in college! I was so excited to hear that. Shes really funny and motivated to work too, so we are going to work HARD here!

There is so much to do, this place is crazy! My first thoughts of Elmshorn is that its cold, its pretty small and it smells like cookies. Well, the first is right, then I realized how big our area is, and that one of the biggest müsli (or like granola) makers is here in Elmshorn, and when its cooking the whole town smells like cookies! I think I will always remember the smell of Elmshorn or maybe Im just grateful the whole thing doesnt smell like bier and cigarette smoke like Zwickau did a lot of the time. I wasn't kidding when I said there is a ton of work to do here. We have some really solid young investigators, that just need to commit to a baptismal date, theyve already developed the faith! That was amazing to see. We actually just got a new one too, heißt Joseph and hes from Kenya! His wife and now step kids are active members, so we will see how he does! We teach him and the kids on Tuesday, so high hopes! He also came to church on Sunday! He only speaks English and some tribal language, so he needs a translator for church the first hour. The young adults in this ward are super cool and all speak English. Its kind of weird for me because I speak German to them because c'mon, I want to speak it! And they want to speak English, so they usually end up winning. They are really funny. One of them, I think his name is Basti, he translated for Joseph, and he said that he wants me to do it next time! I really want to, translating is a whole other skill to learn! I think I could have done this weeks though, the primary program was what was for sacrament meeting, so the little kids are really easy to understand.

Speaking of German, my GOSH its a whole other language up here! Hochdeutsch is the most beautiful sound to my ears. Imagine I was learning English in southern Georgia, and then went to like, Harvard university and listened to some prestigious dude that spoke really good English. Okay that was lame but you get the point. These people are so dang easy to understand it really is crazy! However, I definitely need to relearn some pronunciation because I have been learning sloppy German! Its not too hard though :)

Other that that, we have been working!! I really love that both of us are just simply missionaries. No extras, no training, we are just here prepared to work! I love it so much, and she is just amazing with her German. I think we are going to try to speak 24/7 German with each other. I have really found a love for German now that its so dang easy to understand and speak with these people!!!!! We made a ton of transfer goals even though its only going to be a 4 week transfer, and I think that we can get a lot done. This ward is so willing to work with us and support us with whatever we need. Everyone says that this ward should be filmed for a special edition of the district: ward style. They are really wonderful and I already love them! Its funny, I think its getting easier to remember names now, I actually think I got the majority of them by the end of the day on Sunday! We had missionary and ward missionary meeting and also ward council and they were just awesome. I am really excited for what is coming up and who we can reach out to.

Im realizing how horrible my spelling has become. Whoops I hope that you can understand this email.

OH, there is one scary thing about Elmshorn: the eating appointments. We have one 5 days a week, the ward just loves to feed the missionaries. Everyone said that its impossible not to gain a ton of weight here, and that just terrifies me. The legend of Sister F. has traveled around the entire mission. She feeds the sister missionaries pancakes. Not just any pancakes, HUGE, THICK PANCAKES. Every sister says it was traumatizing and that you have to finish the stack of them. Then, to wash that all down, you eat pudding. Thick, gelatinous PUDDING. I shiver at the thought of this eating appt. Pray for the welfare of our souls, because I think we go over there next week. (Im being a little dramatic, but thats for humor and only like 56% kidding) It is a bit of a blessing because sister decker is a vegetarian!!! We think that is why we were put together. Maybe haha. But its been really nice, she made sure everyone knew about my food preferences and about the red meat thing before we had eating appts. so its been just wonderful. The ward is totally understanding and I appreciated it so much. They end up just feeding both of us vegetarian food and its been really delicious and healthy! Im glad we are together and I dont have to worry about getting sick at eating appts.!

Thats about it on my week! dang i write a novel though when I dont worry about spelling haha!

Answers to questions:
Do you have enough warm clothes and tights?
Im good on warm tights and everything! Its funny, in my last ward some of the members would just give me boxes of them on Sunday and they were that important! It was really funny. You definitely packed me more than enough warm tights, I am so so so grateful. They are a necessity in cold northern Germany! Especially with bikes!

Do you ever use all those workout plans you made before you left?
Every morning so far here! We were trying to get into a routine again, so we just started with those workouts which are awesome, but we made an exercise calendar a couple nights ago! So we plan to only use those workouts 2 times a week. I am doing a thing with sister Grisham and we arent eating any sweets this transfer (unless at eating appts when they just set it in front of you!) Ive been feeling really good and energized! Chocolate makes it sooooo hard to get up in the morning, its actually a blessing not to eat it.

I thought you said that the purple skirt was way too big for you - did wash and shrink it?
Okay I was probably being a little dramatic in the MTC, because its really lose fitting but yeah, I washed it and it shrunk a little. Its not tight in the least bit but a tucked in shirt helped! Makes me feel really skinny haha!

Did you ever find your cash wallet? What happened to it?
Ugh I have absolutely no idea it just makes me sick. Im glad my cards werent in there but I still lost a good chunk of my monthly money. Good thing we are fed so often hah! But we were all over and I completely retraced all of my steps, I still think its going to show up sometime at one of the members houses that we were at. Either that or it was stolen when I was on the bus. I dont remember sitting by anyone else though.

The soccer socks were hilarious! She has pretty skinny legs to fit those. Did he give them to her to keep or just wear to warm up?
Just to warm her up, she gave them back! Yeah shes skinny, but we got buff together this last 2 transfers! She has official Zwickau calves!

Did you get your package of cards yet? You still don't need to start opening them until the 1st or 2nd of December so there is still time. Will you be able to wait and only open one per day until Christmas?
I should get it on Thursday at interviews! Im so excited!! That will be my only chance to get them before December though, so lets hope! Ughhhh thats a hard question... Dang missionary status and I have to be all honest and patient and stuff. Hehe I kid, yes, I will be able to wait! You put so much work into those, I want it to work like you planned!

I hope you have a happy week Mommy! I love you a million days as a missionary. Im truly happy and just ready to do what Heavenly Father wants me to do.

Love, Sister Macey Ingalls

This Week in Pictures (Nov. 12)

Old picture I found on my camera! I think two weeks ago on pday?

Tree going up in Innenstadt! It’s a huge celebration to light it and the pyramide on the 28th of November!

Probably one of my most cherished mission pictures...
I lost my cash wallet and was really stressing about it before getting on the bus and
trying to find money for a day pass. I found EXACTLY what I needed.
If nothing else, this was definitely a miracle in and of itself.

We got kicked out of the apartment this morning because the repair dude needed to repair stuff and we couldn’t be alone with him so we totally looked like bums today. HAHA we had time, so we tried on high heels and DANG I MISS THOSE THINGS! P.S. on a scale of 1-10 how shocked would you be to find out I may have possibly bought these shoes...? Just asking for a friend
Traditional spaghetti eis on the last pday of the transfer! (don’t worry we shared it ;-) But we asked the guy to surprise us and he made it so beautiful we didn’t want to eat it!
I'll send the rest off my tablet! My camera was dead this week, so I took more on that! Love you!
Chalk drawing with the district!
District
Markus gave Grisham soccer socks because she wasn't wearing tights hahahahahahah
Big pyramide in Innenstadt!
