1. So we found out Halloween isn't really a thing in Germany, but everything was still closed down for the 500 year celebration of the Reformation by Martin Luther (super cool but a.k.a. walk everywhere again..๐). We still had our fun and dressed up as each other! It was so funny because I always joke that she wears more pink than a 3 year old, and she thinks I dress like a librarian going to a funeral....
Our switched outfits
(Note from Dad: "I think those are wonderful costumes! I would definitely give you candy if you came by our house for Halloween like that!")
Yup I (kind of) Held a Baby๐
2. DISCLAIMER: not a real baby... We taught a member this week and I noticed she had this doll with the biggest smile on it and I thought it was super funny/cute. She gave it to me to hold and yeah I kinda died even though it was a doll... It totally made my night and I totally miss holding babies ๐๐

WE FOUND A FAMILY
3. Crazy little miracle right here! We had a district "finding" day in Zwickau, where all 6 of us went out on the town and talked to everyone we could about our message of Jesus Christ. The elders found quite a bit of success but for some reason we struggled that day (its usually the opposite, finding is like my favorite!!). As we were walking to meet the elders, Grisham said, "LOOK! A family!" We decided to give it one last go and they were SUPER receptive! They were so sweet and we are so excited to meet with them!๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ๐

4. My gosh Saturday night was hectic but it was totally cool! The problem is that we set an apt with Amir and Martin at 16 and 18 o'clock, but they kind of hinted that it might be uncertain. Everything kept switching around and finally at like 15:50 everything was certain. That also meant we had 10 minutes to prepare for Amir's lesson and relay it to the Persian elders to translate, AND get a joint teach for Martin because we planned on doing a church tour in hopes that he'd feel more comfortable staying all 3 hours. Man, Heavenly Father definitely stepped in because everything totally just worked out and both lessons went AMAZING! Amir even texted us after saying "today was good", which is like WAY more words than normal!! Martin was really happy to talk about the baptismal room and the fact that he could be completely clean once he was baptized! We are so excited for him and things are looking good!
What Makes the Best Warriors ๐ฅcue Mulan music๐ฅ
5. Zone Conference was amazing this week, and very much needed. Fav thing: sister study! Just the sisters get together for an hour and have a good gospel discussion. Something our Sister Training Leader said really hit me: "The best warriors are not the ones who hate what's in front of them, rather they love what's behind them". I love that! I'm motivated to be a missionary because I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I've been learning my whole life what is right, and the joy that it brings to my life motivates me to share it! When we are fighting for the right cause, and especially to defend what's right, that's when we know we are on the right side.
Love y'all!
