"I Didn't Know Jesus Had a Twin Brother!" - (Nov 5 - Group Email)

This week was one for the books, it was jammed packed with great stuff!

1. We had an amazing lesson with one of our dearest friends at the beginning of the week. We talked about God's plan, and he loved it. He explained that this life is like a test, trying to do our best and learn. We agreed, and explained that although it's a test, everyone can get 100% on it with Jesus Christ. It clicked. I will never forget that night.

2. Every week we get the chance to work at the Tafel, which is like a food shelf. I honestly feel honored to go there, I think it's the coolest idea ever. Its really opened my eyes and I love how the community here really supports each other. Germany is awesome.

3. We had my last ever exchange with the Sister Training Leaders! Man, they are so cool. We got to teach some new friends and I learned so much from them. We also played soccer with the elders who also had people on exchanges #FIFAthrowdown Funny thing, Sister Bell and I were walking home at 8:45 pm and it was pitch black, it felt like midnight. But when we got home the sisters threw open the door and hugged us and said they were super worried! It was really sweet but we joked with them the rest of the time that we still had 5 minutes. Seriously though, it's so dark here!

4. Our travel back home took about 2.5 hours, but it went so fast because there were so many people to talk to! My favorite was when we changed trains and I sat down next to an older man. I had been doing something with my tablet so the screen was on, and he saw my homescreen wallpaper of Joseph Smith seeing God the Father and Jesus Christ. I saw him staring at it, smiled at left it there a little longer. Then he laughs and jokingly says something like, "wow, I didn't know that Jesus had a twin brother!" It was SO funny! We ended up talking for almost an hour and explaining the story. He thought it was really cool. God put us in the right place to meet him.

5. I'm just about finished with the Book of Mormon, so I got to read one of my favorite chapters, Ether 12. Highly recommend reading it! I learned from the prophet Moroni who wrote it that Christ wants to make our weaknesses into strengths. I've learned by testing it out that it is easy to see my weaknesses and faults, but that just makes room for us to lean on the Savior and enjoy his promise saying that "because thou hast seen thy weakness thou shalt be made strong."

Love always,
Sister Ingalls
